  1. I would like to suggest the Community Diversity Council of Hunterdon County.

The Community Diversity Council of Hunterdon County, Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer organization created by local residents interested in promoting healthy and respectful human relations in Hunterdon County.

Many people are not aware that New Jersey has become the most ethnically diverse state in the country. The most recent census data indicating a large increase in the Latino and Asian populations of the county demonstrates how this development is impacting Hunterdon. Thus, the Diversity Council focuses on creating an inclusive environment for all people, by preventing and eliminating prejudice based on race, age, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability and color.

In its short life, the Diversity Council has been recognized as a leader in addressing issues of diversity in the county.

We are always in need of members and volunteers to help us with our events. As with most volunteer organizations, the bulk of the work falls on a small group of dedicated members. We are in need of help and some great marketing!

    Thanks much!

  2. One of the non-profit organizations that I like is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hunterdon, Somerset & Warren. They are an organization that pairs a child with an adult role model. Sometimes all a child needs is a small push in the right direction to achieve greatness. This is a great organization on so many levels. Not only do they help children, but they help to create productive members of society. Everybody wins! Their contact information is:

    2 West Washington Avenue, 210-212

Thank you for considering this wonderful organization!

  3. I would like to nominate The Catholic Community of St. John Neumann in Califon NJ "Project Earth" garden and other social ministry projects.
The food from the garden and from the donations of parishioners go to the Hunterdon County Food Bank and also to local families that are in need.
We also provide food to a Food Bank in Jersey City once a month.
In addition we are actively involved with Habitat for Humanity projects. Our youth group participates in a Work camp once a year in the summer. During this week they work in a lower income or seniors community.
We would like the community at large to know of our dedication to social ministry in the area.

    Sincerely,

    Maggie Baumann

  4. I would like to nominate The MAMA MARE FOUNDATION. Krista Kasper's mother lost her battle with breast cancer in Dec. 2009. Since then Krista has established a Foundation in her mother's name to help women and men battlings breast cancer with any air they may need. she has partnered with Rober-Woods University Hospital and donates to their Bio-Medial research for the cure. She has had several events in just a short time. It's amazing in what she has accomplished in just a few short months. On Aug. 28th she has an event called Heal The Hooters in the atrium of Robert-Woods University Hospital. There are so many wonderful organizations. But I am so amazed at what this young womens has accomplished in just a few short months. Krista is such a role model for individuals who are thinking of stepping up and doing something for humanity. Anyone can do it. Just have the will, drive and passion for what you believe!

  10. Using Facebook is a logical step for any business. Social Media marketing including Facebook is more cost efficient, more personal and more fluid than many other marketing mediums. Facebook, in particular, has become a great platform for reaching current, new and potential clients. Facebook is the largest website in the world. Facebook Marketing
